The unique Swarovski Crystal Pearl technology.
Each Swarovski Crystal Pearl is created around a lead crystal core, hence the name Crystal Pearl. The crystal core
gives the pearl its ideal weight and combined with the Swarovski Pearl coating it causes each Crystal Pearl
to glow from within. Swarovski's pearl coating is similar to a natural pearl luster and is consistent in color.
The pearls are resistant to perspiration, ultra violet rays, perfumes, scratches and washing. They warm to
the skin like real pearls do. Swarovski pearls are created in Austria and sold around the world.
Use only Swarovski beads when you want to look your absolute best!
Marcasite
Marcasites are polished and faceted stones which closely resemble diamonds. Marcasite is the
white form of Iron Pyrite, a metal which is known as "Fool's Gold" in its yellow form. In jewelry making, the pyrite
is polished to resemble diamonds and is usually set in sterling silver. The advantage of marcasite is its availability,
relative cheapness and its very beautiful sparkle which can be more eye-catching than a diamond.
Marcasite stones have a high distinctive shine and are resistant to rust. A piece set with marcasite stones
is more expensive than a plain sterling silver piece.
